Raw Vegan Alfredo Sauce

Who doesn't love a plate of fettuccini alfredo? I've never met anyone who can resist the creamy, cheesy, ooey gooiness of alfredo sauce. It's one of my favorites. But between the butter, cream, and cheese the regular stuff is made of, it's enough to make my stomach go into serious spasm mode. 

I've tried a lot of different vegan alfredo sauces, and this is by far the best! And it just so happens to be raw too!! I love it on everything from cucumber noodles to make it completely raw to rice noodles that give it a seriously authentic feel. Trust me when I tell you, you will fall in love with this yummy sauce and will not miss the real stuff! It's also incredibly easy to whip up in a high-speed blender. Honestly, it takes about five minutes to make. Does it get any better that?

Raw Vegan Alfredo Sauce

 1 cup raw cashews soaked for a few hours
1/2 cup water
2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 clove raw garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
A pinch of pepper

Place all ingredients into your high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour over your favorite pasta.
